ART PORTFOLIOS

Students in Grades 3/4/5/6 began an art technique called ZEN TANGLE.  We used this techniqe to decorate art portfolio covers.  These portfolios will come home at the end of the year.   What is Zen Tangle? Answer:  "The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs." ZenTangle.com

Students in Grades 1/2 began an exploration of lines, shapes and patterns.  We used these discoveries to decorate art portfolio covers.  These portfolios will come home at the end of the year.
